It was on Mount Sinai that God passed the Torah and the Ten Commandments down to Moses over 3,000 years ago. This painting offers a dramatic, powerful depiction of the most important moment in Jewish history. Today, Jews celebrate Shavuot to commemorate the day that G-d chose the Jewish people as His nation, forever bound to mystical and spiritual purpose that would illuminate all of humanity.
SEMI ORIGINAL GICLÉE is a reproduction on mounted and stretched canvas with wrapped edges. The entire canvas is then painted over, recreating the look of an original painting with brush strokes and texture. Much time and effort goes into creating each giclée to make it into a masterpiece. It can either be hung as is, or framed.

About This Painting
The Giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai is undoubtedly the most important event in Jewish history. This vibrant, colorful painting draws you into the experience and makes you feel like you are right there with Moses and God on the mountain. While fasting from food and sleep for forty nights and days, God passed the Torah down to Moses. God also presented Moses with two stone tablets. Engraved in the tablets were the Ten Commandments written by God. Jews celebrate this miraculous event each year during the holiday of Shavuot. During Shavuot, Jews attend services at the synagogue to hear the Ten Commandments and remember the Giving of the Torah. This holiday is a time of rest and reflection as Jews look back on that historic event. No work may be done during Shavuot, as we reflect on the moment that the Jewish people were born.
