Seven days after the Jewish people fled from Egypt, G-d parted the Red Sea through Moses. The Egyptians were pursuing the people of Israel, and they chased them all the way to the shores of the Red Sea. G-d used Moshe (Moses) to part the Red Sea, allowing the Jewish people to pass through unharmed.
When the Egyptians followed them into the part, G-d folded the sea back on top of them. While the Parting of the Red Sea is one of G-d’s most well-known miracles, it is also a symbol for the miracles he performs each day. This illustration reminds us of the guiding hand of G-d that leads us, today, despite what challenges we may face in life.
