About This Painting
The Splitting of the Red Sea was a miraculous demonstration of God’s power to the Jewish people. Using God’s power, Moses was able to help the people of Israel escape from the Egyptians. As he waved his hands over the water, the sea began to part, forming a dry passage through the middle. When the Egyptians pursued them into the passage, God collapsed the walls of water, drowning the enemy. The Israelites made it safely to the other side of the water. This painting radiates God’s boundless power and is an excellent inspirational piece for any room. This historical event in Jewish history reminds us that without God, we are limited in our capabilities, but when God works through us, anything is possible.
